Sheet Metal Assembly with Laser Welding Part 1

A large part of sheet metal assembly involves welding.  In the past welding involves heating up the metal, causing the parts to melt together.  This form of welding was often dangerous, posing many safety risks.  Now there is a new type of welding, laser welding, which may soon replace traditional welding all together.  There are many benefits to laser welding besides just the safety of its use.

Laser welding is much more efficient than traditional welding methods.  It can be done faster and safer.  Laser welding is the answer for many assemblers who are falling behind the demand.  Demand for sheet metal products is huge and traditional welding methods do not allow for the quick manufacturing pace that laser welding does.
